    Addicted!

Okay I admit it.  I'm getting slightly addicted to watching my rankings on Amazon

It's climbed from 700,000 to 240,000 in the rankings.  How cool that with over 1 million books on Amazon that mines ranked 240,148?  Sweeet!

Considering it's only been out a little over a month, I think that's good -- right?  What do you think?

Today there was a new review, from someone who just finished reading it in Hawaii.

    Here's what she said:
"I have to say that this is such a great story. You'll easily fall in love with all of the characters in this book...even the ones who weren't the main characters. It's so well written that you can picture every scene and character...just as you would in a movie. You won't be disappointed at all...this book will get a hold of you like you never imagined before. From the beginning to the end, you will find yourself wanting to keep reading. Now that I'm done reading it, I'm already wanting more."

Thank you dear reader for stepping through the book as I hoped you would, by visualizing the characters and plots.  Thank you dear reader for falling in love with the characters as much as I have.

Another blogger and author did a write up for me today too.  I am blessed by all the support.

  • Reviews In So far...

Finding Kylie has been out for 3 weeks, and a few reviews have been posted on Amazon already.  Phone calls, blog comments, and emails have all been favorable.

I know not everyone will fall over it, loving it, as it may not be for everyone, but so far it looks like it's doing well across the board.

I had a book signing this past weekend, at my University.  It was their first alumni book signing event, and I sold all but 2 books.  So I feel like I did fairly well, especially considering some authors left with full boxes of books.

This next week is the big event at Toby Keith's I Love This Bar & Grill.  I already have over 150 RSVP'd YES!  So I'm thrilled.

  • Next Week Should Bring Big News

I should know more on my release date next week.  There are two books in the pipeline in front of mine.  The publisher released, For The May Queen, this week.  Homesong is the next in the line up.

Finding Kylie,  my book, should be released either late September or early fall.

Here are the local events lined up once I have a hard release date.

*Book Launch Party at Toby Kieth's Restaurant in downtown OKC.
-My PR girl is planning to get some television coverage, unless harder news pre-empts the event.  So I'm not       holding my breathe here.
*Local radio station circuit for interviews on-air and in studio.
*Book Signing at Alma Mater, Southern Nazarene University, in November.
